"Age, hereditary, some diseases can affect the muscles and skin of the upper and lower eyelids. In result, the upper and sometimes lower eyelids may become droopy or baggy as muscles lose their strength as well as your eyebrows which causes a tired or older appearance." - Harvard Health Publishing

Botox injections to eliminate wrinkles at the brow and forehead may also cause temporary drooping (although the problem can last as long as three months, so it may not feel temporary)

Upper eyelid surgery, also known as "blepharoplasty", is a traditional way which involves a surgical process that removes excess skin. It comes with its possible complications and slower recovery time.

Non-Surgical Eyelid Lift - Queen Brows Plasma Pen solution

Non-Surgical Eyelid Lift also known as non-surgical blepharoplasty is a non-invasive procedure that utilises a Plasma Pen (Phi-Ion) to lift and correct the upper and lower eyelid and treat wrinkles around the eyes.

The Phi-Ion Plasma Pen is an effective non-surgical alternative to a traditional blepharoplasty that normally requires cutting through skin. The plasma generator machine can be used to treat baggy upper eyelids, wrinkles underneath the eyes.

Heidi always suggest her clients of any age to consider Plasma Pen treatment before blepharoplasty as it can effectively improve the eye area appearance without any surgery, it is applicable to all ages but not all skin type (Skin type of 5 and 6 are excluded).

If you want to get the same result as the surgery, you might require two sessions within 2-4 month after the first treatment done, but 80% of our clients are very happy even with the first session and prefer to keep it natural.

Problems Addressed through Non-surgical Eyelid Lift

Non-surgical Eyelid Lift using a plasma pen can correct a range of imperfections and concerns, including:

  • Loose skin that causes the upper lid to droop over the eye
  • Severe drooping that interferes with the line of vision
  • Puffiness above the eye
  • Lower Eyelid correction
  • Loss of the natural crease above the eye
  • Brow Lift
  • Crow’s Feet

Non-Surgical Lower Eyelid Correction

Lower eyelid also can be treated with plasma pen to smooth out the existing wrinkles. Typically, one treatment session is required for effective lid lifting and tightening, although some, with more skin redundancy, may wish to have an additional treatment later.

The Non-Surgical Lower Eyelid Lift results in a beautifully rested appearance for patients, without the downtime or risks of surgery. Results can last 1 to 2 years.

Non-surgical Crow’s Feet Correction

Crows’ feet can be treated by plasma pen as well to reduce and soften the look. Have a look at the video posted here, and you can see how the immediate result is just after one session of Plasma pen on Crows’ feet.

Non-Surgical Brow Lift

Adding a Brow Lift to the Upper Eyelid Lift Treatment for the Optimum Result

The only possible way to lift the brows correctly was involving a surgery usually involves two small incisions just behind your hairline. These incisions are closed using sutures or staples.

But with Plasma Pen, there is no need for a surgery, you can lift your brows naturally and gradually while keeping the most natural look.

We highly recommend you combine the upper eyelid lift with Brow lift to get the optimum result, the brow is lifted to create a more youthful appearance.

Watch the video below to see the difference. The right eyebrow is lifted using a plasma pen, as well as the right upper eyelid is lifted and corrected. You can see the immediate result and instant correction when the procedure is done.

In cases where the eyebrows are also droopy, a procedure to elevate the eyebrows also may be appropriate. This procedure, called a brow lift, involves making incisions into the scalp and tightening the skin to lift the eyebrows.

There is another combination of Upper Eyelid Lift, Brow Lift, and Crow’s Feet correction which is performed for the following client. Sometimes, the upper eyelid lift does not help enough alone; therefore, we recommend the combination procedure.

Procedure done for above client is as follows:

  • First session: Microneedling + Upper Eyelid Lift
  • Second session after 2 weeks: Brow Lift + Crow’s Feet
  • Recommended session: Microneedling 2 weeks later

actually removed so results should last as long as they would with an invasive surgery. The effects of this treatment are not totally permanent as it does not stop any further aging, BUT the positive results should last you years depending on the area treated.

The positive effects of treatment will be noticeable immediately, but the best results will be seen after 4 weeks. For some clients an additional treatment may be required after 8 weeks for maximum results. There are lifestyle factors that can prevent the results from lasting as long as they can, such as smoking, alcohol consumption and prolonged sun exposure. Those planning on treatment should also  be aware that race and genetics have an effect on the length of the beneficial effects.

The aging process will continue and — as with any cosmetic procedure — your improved appearance due to an eye lift will not last indefinitely. And at some point, in the future, you might want to consider repeating the procedure.

However, depending on your health, age, weight stability, diet and other factors, results can last 1-3 years.
